Plan Set Linker

Drop a residential plan set PDF here. It makes the sheet index tappable and turns every detail callout bubble into a link that jumps straight to that detail, zoomed in. The drawings themselves are never touched, and the page proves it before handing the file back.

What it does, and what it never does

  1. index
Sheet index rows become links. Each row on the cover sheet jumps to the sheet whose title block carries that number (A2.1, S8.1, MEP2.1 …).
  2. callout
Callout bubbles become links. A bubble reading “4” over “S8.1” jumps to sheet S8.1 and zooms to detail 4. If the target sheet exists but the detail title can’t be found, the bubble still jumps to the sheet.
  3. verify
Drawing content is verified unchanged. Links are a separate annotation layer sitting on top of each page. After saving, the page re-opens its own output and confirms every page’s drawing content is byte-for-byte identical to the original.
  4. limit
Needs a vector PDF. Plan sets exported from Revit, AutoCAD or ArchiCAD have real text and work. A scanned set (photos of pages) has no text to read and is reported as such rather than guessed at.
